Here is a faster way to kill Microsoft Instant Messenger. This might not work on all Windows XP, besides Windows XP Professional.
Go to:
Start -> Run
Then put this in the Run command box:
“RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove”

This is a way to remove saved MSN addresses from appearing on MSN Messenger in Windows XP.
