Optimize DSL and Cable Speed
Internet connection speed a little bit slow in Windows XP? Well here is an easy fix.
Go to:
Start -> ‘Right Click’ on My Computer
Then click on:
Propertiescode>
From the System Properties window, select ‘Hardware.’ Then click on ‘Device Manager.’ Now expand ‘Ports.’
Now ‘right click’ on
Communication Port (COM1)
Then click on the ‘Port Settings’ tab, and change the ‘Bits per second’ to whatever you like. Mine is set at:
128000
This should speed up your Microsoft Windows XP internet connection.
