Install a Font

For Windows:

  • To install a font, you first need a unzip tool like WinZip or something similar to it, and you can find it by searching Google. Once you download and install WinZip, find a font that you want and download that. Then go to where you downloaded the file to and extra it.

For Windows Vista users:

  • Select the fonts that you want to install and right click and then click “Install”.

For all other Windows users:

  • Put the files in into your “Fonts” folder and it can be found at “C:\Windows\Fonts”.

For Mac Users:

Mac OS X 10.3 or above:

  • Double click on the font file and click the button that says “Install Font”.

Any Mac OS X:

  • Put the fonts in the /Library/Fonts (this is for all users) or put the fonts in your /Users/Your_username/Library/Fonts (for you and you only).

Mac OS 9 or later:

  • Not supported anymore.

For Linux Users:

  • Copy the fonts to fonts:// in your File Manager, or you can go into your /home folder and in the menu you have to select ‘View’ and then click on ‘Show Hidden Files’ and then you will see a kind of hidden folder that says “.fonts” and then copy the fonts in there.
