Hiding Text Under Icons
If you want to remove the text under an Icon in Windows XP, then you came to the right place.
‘Right Click’ on the icon and click on
Rename
Now all the words under the icon should be highlighted, if not, hit
Ctrl + A
This will highlight everything.
Now just press and hold the ‘Alt’ key and type in
255
Now just hit ‘enter.’
• Use the keypad numbers to enter the ‘255’!
You have just made the text under an icon disappear in Windows XP!
