Get your IP!
What is an IP? Well an IP is your Internet Protocol. It is used to communicate across the internet. Without it, you won’t be able to access the internet in Microsoft Windows XP.
So you want to find out your IP faster than searching Google? Well here it is!
Go to:
Start -> Run -> type in “cmd” (without the quotations)
A little box should open up. It should be showing your local disk (C:\). If it isn’t, type in:
cd\
Now that it is showing your local disk, type in
ipconfig
Then it will say
Under your type of internet connection, it will say “IP Address.”
You have finally found your IP Address for Windows XP faster than looking it up on Google.
